EnyiCast is a casting and production staffing app.  It began in Nollywood in 2007 and now functions in 104 countries.  Producers and Casting Directors can find the perfect talent for any role from actor to gaffer to costumier. Any human resource needed to power a production from start to finish can be found on this app. Niche talent like children, seniors, bilingual actors and even actors who own vehicles can be found using the app's robust search functions.

Actors who might not have been seen or discovered have a chance to showcase themselves to producers and casting directors in Africa and beyond. EnyiCast actually makes life easier for everyone involved in production of any sort. Theatre companies, dance troupes, choirs and record labels will all find this app an indispensable tool.

Talent can select their primary location to display on their profile. For those not living in production hubs, the app allows listing of a second and third nearest location for talent who is  able to travel for shoots or auditions in nearby production hubs such as Lagos, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Mumbai, Bristol, Seoul, Cannes, Berlin, Kumasi, Cape Town, Cairo and others.

Share your unique Affiliate Link with new users and when they download and subscribe via your link, you get paid 25% of their subscription fee every time they subscribe or renew.

EnyiCast  is a platform for producers and filmmakers to post jobs and hire talent. All users are strongly urged to do their research into the companies and casting people seeking talent to be sure they are legitimate.  

EnyiCast displays several security tips in the app including sending one's location to trusted friends and family whenever going to an audition or a location to shoot and going along with other actors and colleagues whenever possible.

In the 2005, before social media and mobile apps, Linda Obasi envisioned a database of talent combined with a newsfeed of casting calls. After interning at Bernard Telsey Casting on Broadway, Linda imagined a system that could streamline the process.

EnyiCast was first built in 2007 by an Abuja based IT specialist as a functional website with databases, newsfeeds, search engines and direct messaging. Unfortunately, Enyi Media, the small New York based startup under which it was created, was unable to meet the marketing demands needed for the website to gain recognition in Nollywood, for which it was originally built. Without social media or a huge marketing budget, it was a challenge.

EnyiCast was rebuilt as a mobile application and relaunched in August 2022. Casting apps are now the international standard in film industries. This time around, the sky is the limit for this robust casting solution called EnyiCast. From Nigeria to the continent at large, EnyiCast’s functionality will save filmmakers and talent time and money that can instead be channeled into bringing great stories to life.
